Airport Arrival Guide
Everything you need from the moment your flight lands at Jeddah (JED) or Madinah (MED) — right through to your hotel check-in.
- 1
Before landing
Fill in the Saudi arrival card on the plane. Have your passport, visa printout and hotel booking ready. Message your driver with an ETA when the seatbelt sign goes off.
- 2
Immigration & biometrics
Follow signs for 'All Passports' or 'Umrah'. Fingerprints and face photo are quick. Expect 30–90 minutes during peak Umrah season.
- 3
Baggage claim
Screens show your flight and belt number in English and Arabic. Zamzam bottles from Jeddah are handled separately (ask ground staff).
- 4
SIM card / eSIM
STC, Mobily and Zain kiosks are in the arrivals hall. Umrah SIMs start from around SAR 65. Or activate a Saudi eSIM (Airalo, Nomad) before you land.
- 5
Currency
ATMs and exchange counters are available. Change only what you need for the first day — hotels and taxis widely accept card.
- 6
Exit and meet driver
Walk through customs and into the arrivals hall. Your pre-booked driver holds a name board. Never accept a random 'taxi?' offer inside the terminal.
- 7
Miqat stop (if entering Ihram)
At JED, the miqat mosque is inside the airport premises with prayer facilities and Zamzam. Ask your driver — no extra charge on our packages.
- 8
Arrive at hotel
Confirm luggage count, note the driver's WhatsApp for your next transfer, and check in. Rest, hydrate, then head to the Haram.
Book your airport pickup
Share your flight number — the driver tracks your landing and meets you in the arrivals hall.
